By Koaw - 2020 (Updated Sept., 2021)

This is a select combined data set for my lepomid observations across all populations. Individual population data charts may be posted at a different time. Meristics and morphometrics were not collected for all specimens captured during my 2020 Lepomis survey. From the survey onward, I will be casually collecting data and uploading an updated spreadsheet.

All meristics counts are done by methods described here: Counting Spines & Rays Morphometrics may be added in the future.

TL = Total Length measured w/o pinching caudal fin, X (w/overbar) = Average, SD = Standard Deviation. BLUEGILL - Lepomis macrochirus, GREEN = Lepomis cyanellus, NORTHERN - Lepomis peltastes, PUMPKINSEED - Lepomis gibbosus, REDBREAST = Lepomis auritus, REDEAR - Lepomis microlophus, WARMOUTH = Lepomis gulosus, ORANGESPOTTED - Lepomis humilis, GREENGILL = L. cyanellus x L. macrochirus. *Pectoral ray counts include either the left or the right pectoral fin; if both pectoral fins of the same specimen were counted then the average of those two counted as the datum going into the statistical analyses.
