This week on the show I had to go to some old video I was sitting on. I’ve been absolutely busy..
I figured this witnessing of some peculiar escape behavior was in order! Keep in mind that this is actually a normal behavior for the northern black racer (Coluber constrictor constrictor) as they will often go for the closest hiding spot. Obviously they had been using this spot before because they were quite familiar with where to find it.
